Does anyone bother with 5K races anymore - i.e. ones that aren parkruns?

Actually, when I did the Dave Clarke thing before it was in Morden. Now it's in Nonsuch park that's actually walking distance from where I work so I may welll do it again this year...

Ive doen race for life 5ks back in the day
and my pb for 5k is at the serpies race, which is only two quid to enter

But, I would not really be doing 5ks if thre was not parkrun tbh

Yes I still do 5ks other than parkruns, personally I find it easier to run a decent time in the evening than at 9am.

mx, agree, I'm not convinced 9am is the best time for a best 5k time and evenings are more conducive to a speedy run.
