I'd previously got up to 'Suenos' volume 2 (intermediate) with the Beeb. Will also revisit Italian (end of Italianissimo Vol 2 - another intermediate Beeb course) Am complete beginner in German... but I want to do it!
McGoohan Feb 2016 11:58am, 12 Feb 2016 21,565 posts	McGoohan Might be worth - for any Duolingo learner - looking at either or both of the Michel Thomas or Pimsleur spoken language courses. (If one is available for your chosen language of course.) They are expensive but many libraries will stock the CDs. I think they'd work well as a complementary resource for Duolingo.

Lemon10 Feb 2016 12:03pm, 12 Feb 2016 1,891 posts	Lemon10 Some German has been done here, Mr Lemon10 had some German colleagues for a while so we both learned some using duolingo, very entertaining. I have of course forgotten it all now as its a few months since we did it.

The other day, I worked out that I knew over 200 signs. However, I cannot follow the experts as they're too fast for me to follow.
