I picked up a blister on my little toe a couple of weeks back right by my toenail. This morning I was trimming my nails ready for my race this weekend and the toenail fell off in my hand.
Will it grow back or is that it for that toe?

They grow back but if you lose them often enough (as I have) they grow back all weird and misshapen. I think they kind of give up, poor things.

Is there anything more pointless than a toe without a nail?

i have lost a toenail in the past - only to have one already grown back underneath - which fell off a few days later - i have no idea how long it took to grown back but i lose my big and second toenails a few times a year

My lost toe nail from VMLM last year is still struggling to grow back properly, it does not bed down properly and I have to keep it very short.
