Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Also agree, BBL...now I walk to work, I drive somewhere within a 5 mile radius for a dog walk once a week just to keep the car turning over. Besides, Flatford is beautiful! I think as long as you pick somewhere quiet, no harm done and less risk than weaving through busy streets.

Those candles look lovely.

I’ve managed to pull a couple of newts out of the bag this evening. I’m pretty sure I saw a pine marten on my evening walk. It crossed the path ahead of me so I didn’t get a good look but there are definitely martens locally.

I’ve also done a newt recipe.

Oh and the birds in the area were calling in an unusual way which I think was a warning. (About the marten not my tagliatelle)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
