Have changed my meds to 50mg am and 50mg pm as I think they've been making me 'edgy'. Seem to have felt better since doing so 🤞.
Manager called yesterday I have a long term sickness return to work meeting on 30th with herself and HR. She has tried to reassure me it's nothing to worry about so trying not to panic over it.
I emailed occupational health this morning to advise them of what is happening at present and emailed work with an update also.
Yesterday was tough spent a lot of time out of the house as OH had eye appointment and I was too scared to be alone. I sat waiting at front of specsavers for him in a corner away from as many people as possible. The plan had been to get some stir fry veg and go home but his appointment took so long he had a meeting he was late for and we had to rush back. This meant I had to go out again later. Chose a quieter time and made a list. Didn't feel as panicky but did start to feel nauseous, luckily we were just about finished at that point. Certainly don't want to go out anywhere today. I know that's a reaction to yesterday though so trying not to look at it as a setback.

Not been able to motivate myself to exercise again but know I need to. I have three weeks left to get myself sorted out before I'm back to work. Hoping my session on Monday with the physcological wellbeing service will help me understand why I have become so panicky and scared to go out.
All in all I feel like I'm making progress though and it can only be better in three weeks time I hope.

Had occupational health meeting this morning. I've told them I want to return to work after my current sicknote runs out. They know my anxiety levels are still raised but I've said I feel like I need to return and my GP and psychologist say I should be OK. I am doing well with breathing and grounding techniques etc but I am still not back to what I was before. They have said a phased return of 50% hours then a local review with my manager with the possibility of repeating those hours the next week or going to 75% hours. My seizures have reduced and I'm under review with the specialist team. It's a long term condition which I am managing. I should be able to do all duties but manager can review locally if needed.
Walked the dog for ten minutes by myself this morning and getting better in public spaces. Report to manager says my anxiety will be ongoing and to be reviewed with them if needed they can contact occupational health for further review.
Report has been sent to manager and they have replied. They haven't replied to last two emails updating them but trying not to read too much I to it. I'm not going to email them anymore now. I have a return to work meeting next week.

That sounds good and you sound determined. 50% not a bad starter for ten but best is that you are starting to control via breathing and grounding, that really is top work

Has anyone else suffered a spike in their depression symptoms following their Covid jab?

We had just managed a week without the need for supplemental meds (ie on top of the regular meds) and were noticing a sustained upturn in mood for the first time in six months then, crash.

It maybe coincidence but with the news today of the link between Covid and neurological conditions (BBC) it has got me thinking.
