Arghh, I was thinking of all the fixed stations, I completely forgot about the breath of fresh air on two wheels! You were great, MetroNome, just the fillip needed for a creaking old runner

Are any Fetchies running 🏃🏼♂️ the D33 this year. It was on my radar as I would like to attempt a “hat trick “ of D33’s, but alas, Covid-19 & travel restrictions have put paid to that.

Hello, all, how is everybody keeping? I've signed up once again for 6 or 7 hours of pain Would be more confident of it taking place in April or May than March. Managed 16.7 miles today, but was a jellied wreck for the last three. That's only half-point time on the D33, yikes, it won't be pretty. |

Lots and lots of snow at half way just now. Doubt it will go ahead, we will still be in lockdown 2 weeks before race day. Also the Deeside railway are extending the line west, will end at halfway once they complete it. New foot bridge is in place just not finished yet. Will hopefully run this race again in a few years when I’m fitter again and the wee one is a few years older. |

I was under the impression it was going ahead, though I think the organisers wrote somewhere, (sorry, can’t remember where), that any entrants who signed up should be local because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.

If we are still in lockdown then it can’t. I think the organisers should really cancel or postpone, it’s the sensible thing to do.
