Maz do you fancy popping up here? I need to swap some tyres over. Well actually I need to work out whether I can just swap the wheels over. QP seemed to think I couldn't but both bikes are 26" (yes old school) and I think same number of gears so I will check before I start faffing with tyres.

I've just ordered a new bike: tredz.co.uk I currently have an ancient specialized hardtail (entry level) with dodgy suspension and a second hand cube hardtail with a dodgy bottom bracket. I've not been enjoying my rides as much as I could and had decided a couple of months ago I needed a new bike. Riding with a new friend yesterday who is really experienced and gets discount from tredz. I've got a really good deal on it and it will be despatched on 29th. It has to be delivered to her but I'll go over so she can help me with set up. Excited!! |

Very nice - and you got a teeny-tiny size Dropper post and 1x11. 2.8" tyres! Or maybe that's normal now, i still think mtbs roll on 1.95"

Tres excited about the dropper post. I think the trend is towards fatter tyres and the single ring at front. It’ll be an adjustment.
