Not sure why the total you pay is higher than what you are looking for. I just paid back 6 installments of one 6th of the voucher amount.

lammo It's off Molly Miller's Lane, turn off the mini roundabout near Lidl. Dave has a good reputation and knows his stuff. |

Hello, Noob here looking for advice on clothing. getting into cycling as an alternative to running and could do with some shorts with padding. Am i better off getting a bib or just a pair of shorts currently cycling up to 50k , how much should i be looking to spend? thanks in advance |

Bibs are more comfy but more faff. Although if you *are* a guy then perhaps not.

I have just been trialing a set of DHB bibs and they are by far the most comfortable I have ever used - not sure they are on the market yet think still st research stage. I do like DHB though - especially their Modo shorts. They seem to be the one that suit me and don't move |

If you are still running on the same trip then I suggest cycling undershorts. They have the standard pads but are meant as underwear. I use these under regular running shorts that have the onion sack liner with no problems.

Question from the UCI Cycling. What's 'pulling a wheel'? (as in the Italian WB kilo, when they stopped about 10 yards from the gate with a pulled wheel) superflyguy - I bought cheap muddy fox shorts. Probably go a size larger than usual. Then in 3 months if you're still doing it, or extending distance & time, consider better options? |

Don’t forget cycling shorts are meant to be worn commando! Definitely get some, exact type and brand is personal preference, don’t go really cheap (Aldi) but do try Wiggle’s own DHB before going on to Castelli or Rapha! I generally avoid bibs but that’s only because I’m female, I do have a pair of bibs that I love but they’re for short rides without loo stops only! |
