Something nobody has mentioned yet is to be sure to let the lube dry after application, if you lube the chain and go straight for a ride the solvent won't have chance to evaporate and it will not work as it should - particularly important if you use WD40 or GT85 to clean your chain.

We're visiting my stepson in Bristol, so Katie is going to pick me up on the way. I'm looking at it as a little trial run for my cycle to Wales in the summer. Hopefully all will be well
