Rather high target seeing as I didn't quite make it to 400 this year but I have got a new bike since last January and Spring is on it's way!!!! Who's up for the challenge?!?!?!?!?

I was aiming for 1000 miles this year (well, actually 1025, to double my previous highest cycling mileage) and ended up with 1802 miles. I'm planning a much bigger target for 2012 since cycling will probably be my main sport. Good luck

MB - I was going to aim for 800 but then I looked at my monthly mileages and I can easily do this if I'm organised, we all need to aim for higher than we think is achievable, you never know, you may surprise yourself!

Yeah like to challenge myself rather than go for the easy option (hope I don't end up eating my words) new year goal is to be more organised too so this may work hand in hand! Good luck and look forward to 'speaking' to you all next year

I'm hoping to commute to work more often by bike next year. Last year I managed about one day per week during the summer months; I'm aiming for at least two days per week come the spring. Not only will this up my milege, it will have the added bonus of saving money on petrol, which will hopefully mean we can afford a wee holiday in the summer
