My knees don't make any weird noises - should I be worried, doctor?

Fragile Do Not Bend
Thanks for the article, I had read before that crepitus probably wasn't anything to be concerned about but my knees do sound very alarming when I go up stairs! They are particularly noisy just after a run, but I don't get any pain in them (well, I haven't for many years anyway).

My left knee in particular has an incredibly loud click for the first minute of a run - I went out for a jog with someone recently and they wanted to know what the noise was!

Heh, you should have heard mine pre op. It squeaked, sqealed, crackled and popped so loudly, people would turn their heads wondering what that noise was. It still crackles and pops but has stopped sqealing :)

Interesting article. I always complain about my creaking knees when squatting.
