Nice blog Binks. I'd have run it this year but it took me a *long* time to recover from Thames Trot last year and didn't want to mess up my VLM prep. You forgot to mention the "famous" GUC left turn to Paddington (although there's a photo, so that makes up for it). I really must have a go next year.

True Gritts!
Same here Binks and great blog, I posted a comment. Shame we didn't get the chance to have a beer. We must reseve an area in the pub for next year so that we can all have a sit down. I'll sort it nearer the time :)

how do you sort transport Binks? I am parking at the start but not sure what to do at the finish...

Never had that problem as have lived a mile from the finish for the past few years :)

Your best bet would be a train back out to Wendover from Marylebone. It's about a mile from the finish, or a couple of stops on a bus/tube. I think the trains take about an hour.

Where are you based?

I am looking at that option Binks. Yes it takes about 45 minutes and costs £10.50 which isn't bad. I may be able to get a friend to collect me and deliver me back to Wendover, but this is certainly the best other option. I live in Milton Keynes.

If you live in Milton Keynes, and I take Binks to the start (highly likely...he can't fly there), then we could probably pick you up en route as we're coming from Bedford...
