Do any of you actually speak these languages, or is Google translate getting a massive increase in traffic?

I’ve only used the ones I can say - but I needed translate for spelling or script ( and I can’t count past 10 in thai or catalan)
Needed traqnslate to read other’s replies though

English, now neun

Most of the ones I’ve chosen I can at least count to ten in.

[I am terrible with languages but did learn to count to ten in Vietnamese maybe twelve years ago. Sadly I can only remember 3 - there’s a famous beer called 333 or Ba Ba Ba, and 7 - I met a formidable woman technical manager near Saigon called Madame Bay - Missus Seven]

I learnt Indonesian in high school for 2 or maybe 3 years. I remember only a little, which includes counting to ten. Unfortunately my pronunciation wasn’t very good and I’ve only just realised recently!

About This Thread

Maintained by JCB
Know more than one language or can google well?

Let’s count from one to twenty. Each post contains the following:

1. A guess for the language the previous number is written in.
2. The next number written in a different language.

When we get to twenty, the next number will be one.

Example: one

English, now zwei

German, now tres

Spanish, now empat
