Had to wait 20 minutes until the end of the session, but got my first jab. At least I don't have to phone the GP surgery any more (well not for 9 or 10 weeks).

I think the blood clot thing came out at an optimum time here, places like Canada are reporting low uptake because of it. People really are idiotic aren’t they? They are literally going back into lockdown again and having curfews but the infinitesimal chance of a side effect is stopping people getting jabbed.
geordiegirl Apr 2021 7:32pm, 18 Apr 2021 14,385 posts	0 geordiegirl People are idiots (sorry generalisation) we willing get jabbed for typhoid, yellow fever, god knows what to go on holiday but a virus that could make us ill or even kill us or a loved one & some people are still resisting. Thankfully I don’t know anyone in that camp but I hear/see people who won’t. It’s sad really and I think the media don’t help.
