I seem to have one on my little toe. What I can quite work out is, can you sort them yourself? I know they sells pumice stones and padded plaster and so on, but does that get rid of it eventually or just mask the issue? Do you have to see a podiatrist to get rid of it? |

I tried gels to get rid of mine, pumice stone, I even had a pick at it myself, needless to say, that didnt improve things. Went to Chiropodist, she water jet cut it out and have had no problems at all since then

as Jon said, that's probably more of a chiropody thing than a podiatry thing.....

I often get them - I use carnation corn caps - the ones that are a ring with the acid in the middle and a plaster over the top. Leave one on for a week , then take it off and find all the dead skin just pulls off taking the corn with it

Oke doke folks. I thought chiropodist and podiatrist are interchangeable terms? Not that that really matters, I just need to see the right person. Think I will go and hunt someone down on the High Road at lunch. Just want rid of it ASAP. |

I have one on my little toe, and it is so painful. I'm going to go and see someone to have it chopped off soon as the corn caps haven't removed it.

Podiatrist is the term that most chiropodists prefer, but yes, they're interchangeable terms.

Mine isn't bad yet but after reading up about the nasty little feckers I want it out before it becomes bad.
