Just read back a bit, and see that there's a free pasty and cup of tea. Hmmm, *strokes chin*, this might be next year's marathon.

Cornish is far better than the Eden Project, small (250ish) field is much better than the mix of HM and full runners at Eden that doesn't really work. Much nicer course, less hilly, on road, great organisation, excellent feel to it.

After looking at PH's photo's the Cornish looks a very, very, good marathon. It's on the medium-long term to-do list :-)

Just checked, it's ONLY 20 miles the other side of Plymouth, very do-able.

Chrisull - There were quite a few DSLRs (big cameras!) around on Sunday. Do you know who was taking photos and whether they may be available to the runners? I am in no rush - just eager to relive the experience! Thanks!

Local papers - one of our runners is a pro photographer and he normally posts them all on facebook the ones that aren't used, but I haven't seen any yet I must admit - will post link if I do. Also local clubs, have a lot taken - St Austell site has over a 1000 at picasaweb.google.com
