Evan Nov 2021 5:19pm, 11 Nov 2021 44 posts	0 Evan I tried to grab one of those squares this summer in Cape Cod bay in Massachusetts, but I lost my nerve when I was about knee deep and 3/4 mile out to sea. I think I ended up being just a few feet short of the zone line when I turned back. These were from when I was still going strong.

Or leave the bike, then walk through thick gorse, to get a zone... Yes, I am pathetic! I also paced up and down the ferry when visiting my sister, to log it and get a zone in the middle of the North Sea

Another I only visited once requires a long run down a sand spit, or balancing along a pipeline that is only above the waves at a very low tide. My least favourite zones in pursuit of a flawless lawn were four in three locations that needed a lot of yomping across boggy moorland. A great deal of uncivilised language was involved.
