I wore my new red venom compression calf guards for my long run this morning. When I finished I took them off straight away and my calls fealt weird, should I have left them on for a while?

I often leave them on for a while after running. To be honest they can make your legs feel a bit odd when you first take them off dependant upon just how tight they are. I have been known to sleep in them if I have done a 20/22 mile marathon training run and for a while it feels like they are still there.

As long as you don't feel as though you have injured anything I wouldn't worry.

I thought I'd resurrect this thread for some advice.

I have no problems during my long runs in training, but I have gone down with considerable cramp in quite a few marathons recently. Would wearing calf guards solely for marathons be a solution?

Got something to say?
