is it a type of tens machine if so local lloyds/ boots chemists do them very cheap

I have the SP8 & have recommended Sports Elite to guys in training group. We use it as training to help build and strengthen, recovery from training and racing.

It works on the muscles motor point to stimulate the muscle. As long as a nerve is 'alive' it can activate the muscle, really useful for rehab in reducing amount of muscle wastage as well as 'waking' up a tired muscle.

Check out Compex tube channels for uses.

It does have tens functions but does far more than your basic tens machine.
