I thought it'd be cool and maybe helpful to have a thread for coders :-)

I'm stuck on some Kotlin/Android stuff at the moment, if there's anyone out there with experience ;-)

Not in this case, I don't think. We did Maple in university - that does some mind-bending stuff :-)

I hated Maple. I could never get it to do what I wanted!

It's a bit more theoretical than Matlab. Although the one to learn now is definitely python.

I need to learn it at some point.

I like how indenting is built in to Python. Such a great idea to make readable code.

I'd read this as codgers. I think we already have a few good places to hide out. BASIC was probably the last language I learnt (or tried to)

Python is incredibly popular. It doesn't have everything but it's incredibly accessible. It's not ZX Basic, but we can't have everything.

Did someone mention the Pi 4 and 8GB? Oh, I did. The recent 4GB Pi 4 is very nice and image recognition with the Google Tensorflow widget is surprisingly good. Support for the widget is a bit lacking, but general support for the Pi has improved.

Hello - Matlab and Python mostly for me, with a bit of C# (for Unity) and Javascript thrown in along the way.

Does this mean we might get an android app soon? ;-)

You didn't get much response the last time you asked for coder input ;-)
