totally agree that you have to weigh up all costs including travel and hotels etc when choseing a race. as I said im still tempted by some of these despite the extortionate price - and I dont live anyway near !

BOING! There appears to be a Suffolk one this year. Did the South Downs/Eastbourne one in 2011(?). Time to get back in the horse I think. |

Do you just get the crappy old dog tags instead of a medal too? They always were quite pricey but then I guess it's quite hard to set up a well-organised race along a coastline.

Frobes - yes, it's a 'Smell' thing. One has to get back in the horse and grind out the mules. Assume so Naomip. The one I did had a great vibe to it though. Like a very up-market trail race. |
