Tomatoes have gone from none to all ripening with a few fir green onion chutney. The rest is looking ragged after days of heavy rain and now very windy. The Swifts, sensibly, left ages ago, quite a few Swallows sitting on the telegraph lines waiting for that signal to go. Lancashire playing at home, day 2, no play as yet.
