The boy wants to put the tree up tomorrow. I am resistant to the tree going up, yet have watched several utterly terrible Christmassy films in the last few days. What I really need is a big bottle of Bailey's - then Christmas will have begun.

I have bought a tree, eaten a mince pie and decorated a garland. This, I feel, counts as Christmas spirit.

It has indeed in the HM household, tree was up on 1st December, most of the wrapping is done, cards sent and I've just bought another 2 Christmas t-shirts this afternoon.

Oh and yes Baileys almost certainly helps!!

Tree up, bought some presents, red wine, fire and watched a Christmas film. Christmas has arrived in our house.

Christmas tree won't go up til 21st! Can't be excited for a twelfth of the year! If I had my way it would go up on Christmas Eve. There are the 12 days of Christmas, I like seeing family and enjoying food/feasting but am a little bah humbug til nearer the time. That said I have made a Christmas Cake and made some Christmas Cards today but because I wanted too :-)

Not yet. Plenty of people on the train back from Birmingham were clearly in a festive mood (pissed).

The tree is up. The lights are twinkling. The living room is adorned with the artwork of Christmas past.
