Parents at brothers for dinner then coming to us for a little bit but arrived as we were about to serve our lunch. Went to cousins ideal as we’d see 3 families and swap presents meaning don’t need to visit again only 2 of them opted not too, so now invited to aunties on Tuesday but I’m not going they’ll have to come to me. Got the worst sore throat I’ve had in a long time and today/tomorrow is at in laws. I just want to sleep. What I’ve done I’ve enjoyed but never again I might go away next year.

elfpint Dec 2022 7:23am, 26 Dec 2022 38,746 posts	0 elfpint Didn’t get a chance to pop in yesterday. Morning here with QP and parents then across to my sister’s for chaos with the kids. Lots of Lego building and Christmas dinner spread across lunch (prawn cocktail and soup) and dinner (turkey and trimmings then trifle). I managed most of the day but bailed at about 7:30pm. It was quite nice to get a quiet evening with my book. It’s been lovely to read back the thread and see how the community came together yesterday.
