Aged 22 I visited my girlfriend's parents for the first time. After the meal I was offered the cheeseboard, which consisted of cheddar and stilton. Not being a fan of blue cheese then, I asked for some Cheddar. Her Father muttered "Hmm, no taste" "Oh I don't know, Cheddar has a pleasant flavour", I replied. "Not the Cheese, you" was his reply. |

I used some of my Christmas cheese in my veggie pasta bake tonight. Still have some Mexicana cheddar left which needs to be used up soon.
