Stan Jewell is putting on another 6 hour road race at Astley Park near Chorley in Lancashire. Last years event was an experiment and even though only 5 runners took part, Stan was pleased with the venue and the organisation so he's putting it on again. Stan also founded the Preston 24 hour race last year and which also took place this year and has handed the event over to a new RD for 2017 and has been renamed the wilderbeast 24 hour challenge. Anyone fancy seeing how far they can run in 6 hours will find this a great opportunity - flat, paved in beautiful Astley Park on Saturday October 8th.
