We had about five cakes between us, a couple of coffees, and squash for the kids and it came to about 10 (couple of quid).

Is Pewsey massively hilly, or lovely and rolling?

They call it flat/undulating ... from memory (last year) there was a hillat about four miles - I will check backthat was a long steady climb but then you got a fantastic long downhill the other sideand after tha pretty much nothing to worry about. I PB'd by about 3 minutes over the prvious year at Chippenham.

I'm really liking the sound of that ...and it would probably fit in better with the Spires

Just had a look back and it's just that steady climb at mile 4. If you take it easy enough, the rest is great. Sorry, don't mean to make it sound like Everest, when it wasn't.
