I'm so glad most of you had a good race, I thought the temperature may have been a problem. I hope to return next year!

Those of you who've met my Dad might like to know that after a 26 minute parkrun on Saturday morning and a 15km trail race in the Lake District on Saturday afternoon, he still managed 4:34 at Chester :-)

Bloody excellent for marshalling!!

There were a lot that didn't appreciate the weather as much as you Foxy.
Hadn't drunk enough to compensate and they were dropping like flies at one point with cramp.
We passed a few up the line of marshals to get them that 1/2 mile or so to the finish.

Some of the ones that need it most were the most reluctant to take the water at

our makeshift station.

I know just before 23 miles one of my colleagues had 2 sent for IV fluids at the hospital

possibly due to my point of reference - I ran 2 days running in 32 degrees in Ireland in July & 3 days in mid sept in 30 degrees plus so aclimatised to it - what was it 21 degrees ?
