I had Brie this evening as there was no Stilton to melt on the turkey.

Brie is my favourite although Camembert is often in the house. We decided not to get a cheese selection this Christmas as visitors tend to say that they are too full after dinner to have any.

Fancied cheese on toast. Prepared and ate cheese on toast: Co-op wholemeal +mousetrap Cheddar + tomato ketchup & cherry toms on the side.

Ooh - Anjum Anand's cheese on toast is good:

Grated Cheddar
Finely chopped cherry toms
Finely chopped white onion
Finely chopped green chilli
Chopped fresh corinder.

Mix together - add to bread which has been toasted on one side and grill or bake in oven.

I sometimes hold a brunch for friends and I do plenty of that + masala scrambled eggs and kedgeree - an Anglo-Indian theme really. Although I also add in zabaglione and fruit for afters.

Fizz :-)
For those that like Brie, I highly recommend Vallage. It's a triple-cream cheese. Fantastic.
