Snoot Mar 2022 12:40pm, 29 Mar 2022 4,537 posts	0 Snoot Had to put Jan for this as I've not stopped wearing shorts all year whilst running, (and at home) only time running in longs was when shorts all ended up in the wash once at the same time or going up high in the cold.
Sigh Mar 2022 12:46pm, 29 Mar 2022 13,029 posts	0 Sigh For me, it's base layers rather than shorts/leggings which are a better measure of spring arriving. I wear shorts all year round, but it's only been in the last couple of weeks that it's been warm enough to run with just a single top layer.

Diogenes Mar 2022 1:30pm, 29 Mar 2022 68,447 posts	0 Diogenes Shorts all year round, except for sub-zero/blizzard conditions. I hardly wore a base layer this year but I did wear gilet or windproof more often than in past years, it seemed.
Snoot Mar 2022 2:10pm, 29 Mar 2022 4,540 posts	0 Snoot I do get comments at training re the shorts as until the last week it's been with two top layers and gloves. Gloves were even a staple with just a vest and shorts in the race the other week due to Reynolds, that tends to get comments too.

If it was a major national store, I'd view this as karma for the number of times they've previously ripped me off with dodgy products (Sainsbury's, I'm looking at you).
