But I have had to get painkillers and antibiotics into my two. The first were in syringes and not difficult (though they were still kitties) but the most recent was tablets. Peggý was sufficiently stupid and greedy that she took them when I broke them into tiny pieces and mashed it into her favourite paté.

Then there is the 30 minute chase around the room. Post anointment there is also utter disdain and the compulsory cat escape. Sid will usually forgive us by dinner time, Polly takes longer (she is less greedy). Typically there will then be un-forecast rain within an hour of treatment, so I then worry about whether all of the treatment has washed off anyway.

Emotional buggers, I don't miss those years!] I reckon when we get a mog, I'll have to be the one on flea treatment duty. I mean, the cat's gonna love housemate more than me anyway, so why not play bad cop?
Hanneke May 2021 10:12am, 10 May 2021 73,302 posts	0 Hanneke Lasya isn't food driven at all, so it has to be spoton, as she would simply refuse to eat for days otherwise... She hasn't had any since last summer, as she doesn't go out in winter, so I only endure it 5x a year.
