Carrying Bikes in Car

We put ours in the car (Berlingo so they go in wheels on) unless we've got the camping stuff in it when we use a towbar rack. The towbar rack is much better than the old strap on one we had.

Bike rack on the back but then we have VW T6 converted into camper van and we sold the car mainly for this reason (plus I love driving the van)
