Can someone explain the benefits of a Garmin 210 over a 205?

As I am a dumb dumb.

I have had a 205 for ages. Love it to bits but it's feeling like it is on its last legs (a bit like me after mile 17 in London). It seems to be losing signal after a couple of hours, taking an age to charge, taking anything from 5-15 times to link with my laptop to log runs etc.

I see Sweatshop has the 210 on sale for £85, and i could probably persuade my better half to split the cost 50/50 as a birthday present.

What bells and whistles can I expect to not use on this thing? Is there something better to go for around the £100 mark?

Much obliged good Fetchies.

Not sure what features the 205 had, but if you read the following you should spot any differences

Very in depth, thanks. Seems I actually lose a bit on this one from the ancient 205 but then I don't use half of that stuff anyway!

Isn't the 205 the thing that looks like you've got a cereal packet strapped to your arm? The 210 at least looks like a watch and I’m sure £85 is well spent for that alone.

I have a 210, had it for ages. I’d recommend it completely.

Yep, one of those that is normally fenced off and on National Grid-owned land!

Think of the weight reduction too. Could take milliseconds off your marathon time.....
