I run in mine - it's the actual running where I have calf problems. Don't bother afterwards ('cos they're all sweaty then!!)

Got the Red Venom Graduated ones. Tried some 2XU at the club run last night and they felt good, but these were half the price. Might get some 2XU from Father Christmas.

For those that wear them post-run, how long do you leave them on for?

I wore my calf sleeves for about 12 hours after the race on Sunday (ie from post race shower until bedtime).

I don put them on post-run/race, I usually wear them until it's time to go to bed! I've been known to wear them all next day at work too.

Whilst on this subject, I did a reasonably hilly 23-mile off-road race on Sunday and against my better judgement decided to wear my Red Venom compression socks. They definitely helped support my calves and kept cramp at bay, but the penalty was a nasty blister right in the middle of my (left) forefoot.

I realise this is subjective, but I defnitely feel that long off-road events where your feet are going to get seriously wet and compression socks just don't mix. Much better to wear your normal socks and calfguards.
