'solutionise' is what you'd get if say a government has made a mistake and wishes to show that it was no mistake, but actually a solution. A preposterous scenario, I concede.

Yep. What I would call “bug fixing” would be argued to be “an enhancement” by the dev team. Bug fixes are free but enhancements cost money...

When we were outsourced we were treated to long talks about the difference between bugs (no such thing) and enhancements (limitless potential), but our loyalties oddly lay with our previous employer, not to mention a basic sense of decency.
