Buying back ups - just me?

I stock-piled them while they were cheap but now DC and no more in my size so contemplating switching to another shoe (the new Ace model has been 'improved' to no longer fit my feet ) Nowt wrong with having a few spares (though 6 of the same road bike is slightly mind-boggling!)
