I'd like it noted that I had nothing to do with forcing GB to run a mara the week before. Well, maybe a little bit but it was in return for my 'expert services' at the GHM :-)

It'll be multi loop jwellis, prob 12-13 - I'm currently working on getting the course measured to sort start/finish line so it's in a decent location x

Thinking of doing this, as it's for such a good cause. Just waiting to see if my partner-in-crime is up for it :)

Training partner doesn't fancy this but I do!! Will be putting my entry in soon. Nearer the time will have to find somewhere to stay Friday and Saturday nights. Any suggestions for somewhere of the Premier Inn ilk please?

There's loads of places down here, a couple of Premier Inns and if you go further into Folkestone (still only about 6 miles away) there's a Hol Inn Express and things like that. Lots of little B&B's and things too - it's the nature of the beast when you've a seaside town :-) The Best Western on the seafront (and therefore on the course) are doing corporate rates of £65 a room single occupancy, £72 a double/twin if you quote Dover Marathon when you call them - rates valid for the 29 & 30 March only.
