Think it was probably the pollen from across the road that affected me. Prob be a couple of weeks before I put in another appearance - already got a race next weekend and the following Wednesday.

Re the sprinting, it seems to be a different engine. Sheer bloody mindedness. And I averaged 91% of VO2max for the race. Can the body have a sort of NOX button? Am I about to enlighten the world with a great secret? Or have I got it all wrong and I should be able to go faster for the rest of it? Either way, Bertie says I have to come and have a coffee afterwards next time. But I warn you, I am as boring as shite. Might even smell as bad too.
