I think it's to do with the park restoration fund and it's a nice way to keep the park authorities sweet and a way of saying thanks as they've officially recognised the time trial this week and are allowing it to happen. Or something. We won't be back at Bushy til July now although I'm keen to try the new course at Wimbledon soon too. They've apparently canned the old course as it gets too dangerous in the wet and horses are a problem.
