I wasn't planning on running quite as fast as I did - I started off at a steady pace and after the 180 degree turn at the bollards I started to push harder. The support from FGC also helped The problem now is that I'll no doubt be aching a bit tomorrow at BPTT. *PS, for those who have no idea what we're talking about, it was the Stragglers handicap race last night.

I was going to go round at MP and keep Tappers company (he was just plodding round - note his plod = my MP) None of us had a watch and we ran easy and chewed the fat till the start of the finish straight when I pushed on. Result = 25 second PB! Would it be stupid to really go for it 1 week before a mara? (please say no...)
