Quick question (I haven't trawled through the 30 pages of this yet, so forgive me if this has been asked elsewhere) - is there a cut-off time for the BPTT? I haven't seen it on the website...

Having a look at the latest results, the slowest time is just over 35. As my 5k PB is 34:30, and this course is said to be slower than others (according to the intro page of the site) am I going to be well out of my league here?

Any advice appreciated!

Shoeless, you wont be out of your league at all. It's a very very friendly race with lovely people, very informal. The best thing is you start using BBTT as your 5k time, and keep PBing, the next time you enter a 5k you end up with a fab time!!

I think I'll take it up with him, actually - I know we can't this weekend (Sri Chinmoy 10k on Sat for me, and he's working) but hopefully soon...

Well, they close the park to pedestrians at 10pm, so if you think you'll be slower than that, make sure you have a tent and a flask of coffee to keep you company. There's plenty of wildlife so food shouldn't be an issue. Prob a good idea to pack some waterproof matches as well.

No, seriously, there is no cut off, it's very friendly, and it's a nice place to spend a Saturday morning as well.
