Dec 2006 6:12pm, 16 Dec 2006 0 posts	Hilly, muddy ( a total quagmire!) and very serious - the marshalls had all packed up by the time I had finished and both Amalia and I were lapped by so many people - horrible to have to do a 3rd lap and run past so many people who had finished and you still have a third to go! No other slower runners and hardly any women. Still, I enjoyed it and had my i-pod on so treated it like a nice training run on a sunnny Saturday with some top sounds. Had to take it steady because I am still v chesty, but at leat I finished it with not a single step walked. 2 laps in 50 mins so best XC so far - 1:12 for the 7.5. Rather a long answer - sorry. Well done on your Bushy Park time Will have to come and do it with you sometime but Wimbledon looks good. Are you running with the Striders this week?
