haha - could be good tri training. I saw one triathlete on Channel 5 finish the cycle part of his race carrying his bike - can't think what his name was but it was inspiring. If I'm ever there with my bike you're welcome to share my lock. I carry a 4kg chain with a mini D lock. I have a smaller U-lock but the chain is easier to carry as I can wear it. It was pretty cheap too at £50, I paid another £50 for teh Abus mini U-lock wiggle.co.uk |

Thanks Kieren, but I really am determined never to lock the racer other than inside somewhere safe... even in a car I hyde it under a blanket. I have an abus motorbike lock for my foldup... it weighs twice as much as the bike and probably about half as much as me Had one like that before, still got cut... people go around with battery operated angle grinders these days. I have my commuter foldup stolen on average once every 8 months, even though I take it inside wherever I can and have this incredible lock... |

wow - that's tradgic. It annoys me so much. I wish some bright young upstart would place more bikes that are set up to be stolen so we can catch these guys but that is probably entrapment |

Han - if Puff's not around then you can leave the bike in our lounge - it can talk to Sir Cannondale and Lady Trek.
