Oh bad luck - they had the better quality registration team helping out last weekend.... but this weekend I'm running it instead ;-)

One highlight coming up is that at some point in the next 1-3 weeks the events going to have it's 1000th competitor - depending on how many newbies turn up this week, then it could be you!

Ooooh! What's the prize for the 1000th? A whole minute off your finishing time? Your own personal route going inside that last tree of the straight?

I've heard they're going to do a special deal for the 1000th person - a huge package including free BPTT race entry for life!

Lalli - Think I may christen my Fetch top tomorrow - there are often quite a few Fetch and Runnersworld folk there.

In particular come and say hello to any of these folk - http://bptt.net/BPTT/20060204/pages/2006_0204_BPTT0221.html

Quite a few of them will be in the coffee shop afterwards too - introduce yourself and they'll talk non-stop to you!

Also you'll find them chatting about anything but the race on: http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/forummessages.asp?dt=4&UTN=47732&last=1&V=6&SP=

See you tomorrow!

Since you won't be there, then I figured telling Lalli to look for you tomorrow wouldn't be that helpful, Gobi!

... besides surely no-one needs to look for you - they just need to listen...

Just to keep him happy, here's a picture of Gobi - http://www.democracy.me.uk/nutter.JPG

- if you ever meet him then don't try to run away as unfortunately he can run too fast.
- best advice is to roll up into a ball and play dead
- especially important to cover your ears...
