Cavey May 2006 11:31am, 27 May 2006 0 posts	Cavey Pulled into Bushy Park at 9:10am feeling a bit smug that i'd negotiated the 180 mile trip with no hiccups, only to see the race had started without me!!!! I was sure it started at 9:30am!!!!<br><br>Gutted to say the least!!<br><br>Had a scoot round to see if I could find the start but there was no way I was going to catch up by that time so sulked off to Ascot

Yep I missed the start, so I sulked in the carpark till everyone came in and Gobi and Vomit went round again as a warm down and paced me!!!<br><br>Next time Cavey Wavey....next time.

Cavey - oh no!!!!<br><br>And to make it worse... if you'd come to the car park and found Paul the race organiser then he'd have got you racing and timed you separately... or if you'd waited for another 20 minutes then I know that some of us would have been up for a second lap... Totally understand your guttedness... You definitely should have hung around though - we'd have sorted you out! Especially after such an epic journey to get there.<br><br>Sorry!
