Well - I'd guess 23' for a 5k would already put you in the top half of people racing - which is, of course, loads better than people who couldn't possibly run 5K. So with no shin niggles and a bit more time you will be really fast at 5K. It's just common sense really. If you want a good gossip you need to do ultras - plenty of time when you are doing the race for a chat. ;o)

Stumpy Aug 2006 3:24pm, 9 Aug 2006 0 posts	Stumpy you can bring cake if you like (I think we should make sure Bertie does on her birthday......) mostly it is provided in the comfortable surroundings of Cafe Nero afterwards. along with coffee and gossip. for a small fee. I wouldn't fancy providing cake for over 200 people, which was the field last week.
