I bought a haggis yesterday. Hope we've got it for dinner tonight!

Ceilidhs can be dangerous! I remember a drunken Gay Gordons; a friend slipped, pulled her partner down and caused a pile up on the dancefloor. Bruised arms are usually a result of a good night... |

I play in a ceilidh band, mostly cos I like the music and playing tunes with friends, but it is quite a nice feeling to play for dancers and I think a ceilidh is one of the few times when you'll get people of all ages dancing together. We mostly do charity fundraisers, school PTA events etc. but also the occasional wedding or birthday party which usually means most people will be new to it.
