I've got a green vest. Anyone know what my chances are of moving up into the orange pen at the start?

it appears there are no extra trains going into the city centre on sunday morning, so hundreds of locals (inc me) will have to drive in. what madness.

pdavey I raised this as an issue with the organisers ages ago and they said there wasn't anything they could do. I also got in contact with London Midland and apparently they can't run trains any earlier on a Sunday due to engineering works. The fact that other trains divert along the line by me (Lichfield - Redditch) every Sunday morning suggests they were just trying to fob me off. Is Brum really meant to be the 2nd city!?

owm, if it's anything like it was two years ago nobody will care what pen you're in, but you may struggle to get into a pen at all and if you do then even if you place yourself right at the front there'll be a group of fat loud girls wearing nothing but glitter holding hands in front of you.

Bah bah bah. Got a cold this week, its apparently turning a bit coughy as well unless I'm just being paranoid. Sore throat was on Tuesday so I'd hoped it might be on the way out by now.

Seriously considering not running for the first time ever despite having a hotel just off Brindleyplace for tomorrow night. I don't want to exacerbate things by trying to run up from McDonald's on the Bristol Road behind that Moreira burd or something, then dying live on Channel 5.
