is it working ? I actually saw a bit of the full marathon years ago - morning started cool and a bit misty, warmed up, but not too much. Last year was unseasonably warm.

Not sure if anyone still watching this old thread. Some of us from our club are thinking of going to Budapest later this yea ( or Tallinn or Odense )r, does anyone know if the course is pretty flat ? I believe Budapest is quite a hilly city, but looking at the course map, it seems to stick pretty close to the river with lots of weaving back and forth, so maybe they avoid the hills. Couldn't see an elevation profile on the website. Appreciate any feedback on this, or general info on the race, good/bad points etc. Thanks |

It's flat! I admit to DNFing - that bliddy river did my head in. But Budapest itself is fantastic and I'd go back tomorrow as long as I didn't have to run along the river!
