Sounds nice Garfield :-)

I really need to get out on mine - I collected it on 7th March last year (as part of our cycle to work scheme, ha!), and have ridden it only twice. I’m not the most confident of cyclists, and with everywhere being so busy now I’ve been a bit scared to actually use it.

I know how you feel jenny! I usually am a fairly confident cyclist, but that's on a road bike and I've not ridden much on the Brompton. I should get out on my other bike too...only I don't like the road users in my area...they are NOT considerate!

They are really good. Very fast but speed drops off sooner that q big bike when coasting. Handling is also a little twitchy.

I have the ML3 (3 speed, U shape handle bar) in standard gearing.

If I was buying again, I'd probably get flat handle bar and 3 speed with the easier gearing for getting up hills.

Blew the dust off my Brompton this week to go and get my covid jab.

Security made me fold it before entering the external church gates but otherwise no issues bringing it in with me.

I haven't been in any bike for a year because with less traffic to constrain them, local drivers seemed to be worse than ever. However this week was fine. Other road users were observant & courteous.

Was quite proud to hit 26mph on the little bike but not for long.

Much fun. It's a shame the bags are so expensive - after selling the big one, I'd quite like a smaller one for the front.

That's cool. Mine needs a service and to sort out the puncture.

Excellent, Kieren! :) I splurged on the metro backpack bag...backpack straps that magnetically attach to the front when on the bike.

Is it the back wheel? That's a pain to do and well worth paying.
